Cashback is coming to more customers 🚀

I’ve had lunchtime’s Deliveroo not track. I’ve been in the trial since the beginning so I’m still expecting something to have registered straight away but nothing seems to have :man_shrugging:

I’ve flagged it as missing cashback and will see what they say.

And this is why a “gradual rollout” is needed. Ideally, the aggregator version should have been tested as part of the trial before public launch though…
Just my thoughts.

Just as a heads up for the Disney+ offer. Make sure to do it from the website and not the app. Spent £109 on a yearly subscription just to realise it will appear as “Google Play Store” and not be eligible :upside_down_face:

Unless it specifically states this in the terms, you could submit a cashback claim?

My thoughts too, they tested their own in house systems with instant Cashback but not via aggregator version

But the transaction would have been an “in-app purchase” via Google Play Store, not with Disney+ itself.

I’ve reported it though I feel like it’ll probably be rejected for those reasons

Yeah, you’ve got no hope.

That’s like complaining you didn’t get cashback for coke when you bought it from Tesco.

Worth a shot. Who knows.

Likewise. Purposely used Deliveroo for takeaway night and it hasn’t tracked either. Not sure if it’s made a difference but I paid with Google Pay but that should keep it eligible.

I think I also used Google Pay but like you said, it should still be eligible

It probably needs adding to the exceptions or explained in some way. I’m not sure too many people know the difference between in-app purchases (like the Disney+ example) and ordering through an app (like the Deliveroo example)

I think it’s a valid assumption that you can use the app and if you don’t get cashback to raise it. The Currys offer specifically says that app purchases aren’t eligible, so if it was expected not to work it would have been listed as an exception

Did you use Apple/Google pay? In the past with Airtime Rewards, they only accepted Cashback tracking via your actual card on the app. I know it’s different but maybe same rules apply.

You should be fine then as you submitted a request

For context though, this is what I meant.

Just mentioned this elsewhere but I’ve got the category selector for cashback on the cashback pot which doesn’t make any sense, it also errors if I try and change it from general.

Sure that’s been there a while.

It should match the category you spent in.

All mine say General which doesn’t match any of the original transactions.

Oh, I wasn’t clear, mine does too, but in theory they should be matching.

The category isn’t used anywhere so I wouldn’t expect them to be visible.
