Car Hire /fuel deposit

Hi
Ive been provided with a hire car this morning. Received a call from Europcar who wanted a card for fuel. Anyway I though I would try the Monzo card. When she asked for the name on card, just gave my name. Card when through. Just check they have requested rather taken £1. If I return the car which a full tank of fuel, sorry to sound so tight, will they be able to refund this £1 back to the card without a problem?

It’s probably an active card check - they’re refunded in 7 days at most as the merchant doesn’t claim the money. They can release it sooner but it usually takes a few days to come through. But yeah, usually 7 days at the most.
