For some reason whenever I try to pay with my Monzo account on JustEat it just says “payment declined”, whether on my laptop or phone, with different browsers, and I have quadruple checked my account details. Also can’t seem to make it work with Google Pay either.
Any ideas why this might be? I have £10 of JustEat credit to use but it won’t work paying cash, so I am a bit stuck as Monzo is my only account!
Is there a message in your feed to say declined?
If not, it’s not getting to Monzo and it’s a JustEat issue.
Have you checked the card details are right? I’ve had this before where it defaulted to a previous monzo card I had.
Other then that sounds like one for help@monzo.com or the in-app chat, I’ve used my card with just eat may times without issue
Sometimes if you remove your card from the JustEat app and re add it that solves the issue.
I’ve had this situation once before.
If there’s no decline showing in your Monzo app it means the request didn’t reach the bank, meaning there is a problem with Just Eat.
If there is a decline, it should show you in the app what the reason was. Is your card frozen or anything (if there is a decline showing in the Monzo app)?
