Can’t pay for Monzo loan from a pot

I miss my loan repayment regularly because I keep the money in a pot and forget that despite being able to pay for practically ANYTHING from a pot, you can’t pay for your Monzo loan from a pot

(Ps. I always have the money and I always pay it the same day it fails)

Yep it’s a known issue, has been for a long time. It’ll change one day, soon, maybe, who knows.

I just pay mine off early every month by a day or 2, never an issue.

You can avoid this by setting a standing order from your pot to your main account in the date the payment is due, in your case the 15th.

Pay loan from pot

Monzo offered me a loan so I was able to consolidate a few credit cards etc. However there is no way for me to “pay from pot” like a normal direct debit! This would be SO HELPFUL!

Loan & Pots

Recently taken a loan out via Monzo but can’t seem to see the functionality to have it paid out from a pot, just checking in to see if I’m missing something obvious? I suppose I can always try use IFTTT once I know how the repayment looks on my feed.

Paying Monzo Loan or Flex payments from pots

I pay all of my direct debits and standing orders from a scheduled bill payments pot and use the salary sorter each month to move enough money into my pots for bills etc. Monzo flex payments and Monzo loan payments don’t seem to have the option to pay from a pot so currently we have to manually transfer funds from a pot the day before to ensure the payment is covered. Would be a good idea to include this option in the future.
