Blurred overlay for Touch ID not present when a conversation is open

Found this recently. If you are in the middle of a conversation with support, or simply have the inbox open, leaving the app and coming back shows the Touch ID box but no blurred overlay. Any information within the chat is clearly visible.

This can be reproduced by opening a chat conversation, pressing the home button, then re-entering the app. I can provide screenshots if need be.
