Say I spend £50 with someone in a restaurant, I split it in Monzo £25 each. In the summary it still says I’ve spent £50 eating out. This is not how I expected the feature to work, can this be resolved.
It would actually be useful to budget if it worked this way, any alternative methods please let me know.
Once they pay you back, it should then add up accordingly. I can see the correct total in my Takeaways budget which I’ve had a split accepted in.

Nope - in the summary it just adds all spending without taking into account the splits
Splits are taken into account in Summary if the Bill Split is paid back from another Monzo user using Monzo-to-Monzo payments (i.e., not a Faster Payments transfer).
Incoming Faster Payments transfers are currently not included in Summary. You can vote for this feature here:
I’m not sure if monzo.me payments are currently included in Summary, but I think they might be inlcuded.
