Our target is that after we ship the next feature in Trends it will meet all the same needs that Summary met, and we’ll then be ready to start deprecating and removing it from the app

To reduce the tears (mine), here’s a very cut-down version of my accounts in Trendsv2- basically just Monzo accounts & pots - no connected accounts shown. It looks good. Of note - the categories when dragging your finger across the Pulsev2 graph are tiny icons which you can’t do anything with. But the interesting part is the ‘End of Day Balance’ display, when you tap & drag your finger across the Pulsev2 graph. Nice!

Looks great! I really do hope the prediction part of the line works well; it can be really powerful to know in advance that you might need to curb spending to prevent going overdrawn etc.
Sadly not got this yet.

Woah… now this is where it gets interesting. What looks like a forecast/look-forward calculation, calculated from the selected Monzo/connected accounts in Trends:
Early days yet but obviously a consideration in improving things. I can probably ditch YNAB before the expensive renewal looms

Oh you got your old account open again? I am sure I recall you having problems reopening your monzo account.
Just wondering as I know others who would be keen to try reopening.
Yep just had to use a different number; despite them saying they deregistered my old number I don’t think they did, who knows

Firstly many thanks for the great update regarding the next step for trends. It all sounds very exciting and something that would make me more than happy to upgrade to Plus or Premium to get.
My only hold back is that we only use our Monzo Joint account with 99% of all income and expenditure going through that. As far as I can see if I subscribed I could benefit from the trends updates as our Monzo Joint account would be one of the connected accounts.
But unless I am missing something we would both need to subscribe to get this and then still we would not benefit from all the other Plus/Premium features, diminishing the value of these extra services.
Am I missing something, or perhaps there is an update on Plus/Premium for Joint accounts? It would be great to hear about that.
Again many thanks for the update and well done with the release of these great new features.

Hello! To clarify this: you will be able to see the balance chart for the current month for your joint account even without subscribing.
