Best 'trade in' website for laptop?

Hey, so random(ish) question.

I’ve got a ‘spare’ laptop. It’s a Samsung Galaxy Book 360 that’s been sat on a shelf for a year because I’ve upgraded to a MacBook Air.

It’s perfect working order and runs Win 11. So, before it looses anymore value, I thought I should probably get rid of it.

I really really want to try and avoid dealing with scammers so don’t want to stick it on eBay or Facebook Marketplace. I was hoping Samsung had a ‘trade in’ service like Apple - but looks like they’ll only trade in phones and tablets and not laptops.

Anyone got any recommendation for a 3rd party trade in website that’s pretty reliable and offers a reasonable amount for trade ins (I know I’ll potentially get more with a direct sale than a trade in)?

CEX are usually good

Make sure you wipe (not just delete) all your personal data from It before you hand it over.

I’d fire it on the AVforums classified section. As you’d be a new user though some folks would probably want you to post it before paying you but you could always mark it as collection only.

How much do you want for it? If reasonable, we can do it through some sort of recommended service by people on here.

Just signed up to AVForums (sure I used to have an account there years ago) as I’ll be looking to sell a few things soon (Pixel 8, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Buds Pro & Garmin Epix) but discovered afterwards that they limit posting in the classified section until you’re an established member or higher
