Best Place In the UK to visit

If best and happiest can be linked at all, then it looks like the Ribble Valley should be on the to-visit list.

Cambridge! I’ve just graduated and miss it so much. The city centre is beautiful, just not on a weekend when it’s overrun by tourists. A quiet weekday over the Christmas hols :ok_hand:

I used to live in King’s, walking past the snowy chapel over the Christmas hols when all the other students were back home was magical, plus you catch glimpses of the Carols from Kings.

I’d go with that too. Slightly biased though as I live there

Without a doubt Fleet Services.

A personal favourite I’m also a big fan of South mimms.

Lake District or Anglesey (specifically south stack)

Glasgow. Friendly people, plenty to do in the city, plenty to do in the West End, and a train ride from Loch Lomond.

I think that caveat applies in most of the UK (except Slough, weather doesn’t really make a difference there!)

Newcastle upon Tyne

We visited South Stack last year, absolutely stunning!

Blackp…

Never mind.

Why not Blackpool? I’m going there at the weekend to see the lights.

I’m joking, I’m from Blackpool and it has massively improved over the last few years.

Bring a coat to wrap up warm in, that sea-breeze is brutal and if you like donuts, get some fresh made ones at one of the stalls on the prom. They are amazing!!

Although I wouldn’t say it is the best place in the UK to visit. I quite like Chester myself. Beautiful architecture.
