I scored a belter in our 5-a-side league, properly ran on to it with all my team mates shouting ‘NOOO DON’T SHOOT’ but I did and it flew into the top corner. Unstoppable. The only goal I scored in two years. What a memory.
P.S. I scored a BELTER with Azzinari (for Forest Green vs Norwich City) at the weekend, danced past two defenders then smashed it top bin. Kids only 19, one for the future… what, FIFA doesn’t count??

Anyway… NOT a Man U fan but the one Rooney scored against Newcastle after arguing with the referee seconds before it still makes me chuckle… like he was taking his annoyance out on the ball.
Zidane in the Champions League final at Hampden for me though. Legends doing what legends do (and we won’t talk about the headbutt…)
