Barclays account add-on

Hi there

Have problems adding my Barclays account to the app (I deleted it after it didn’t refresh my balance) and tried to reconnect it - for the last week or so I cannot add it back again, the button just doesn’t do anything (looks like it is trying to reconnect by showing a swirly sign but then goes back to the button).

I deleted and added the Monzo app back but it didn’t help.

Any suggestions?


This may sound a bit off-the-wall, but did you reboot your device after deleting the Monzo app and before reinstalling the Monzo app?

I don’t think so. Perhaps I should try this?

Yes please - the reboot after uninstalling the Monzo app is important to clear any lingering issues. The uninstall → reboot → reinstall routine has cleared many, many random issues before.

Thank you, unfortunately is the same, but will remember for any future problems. Perhaps the Barclays link is currently not working currently. It isn’t a huge issue though. I’ll try again next week.
