Good evening, I’m trying to pay through bank account (mu monzo account to HSBC account) and when i click on send payment the screen of the phone turns white with a wheel moving at the centre.
I’m sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but it’s my first payment with monzo and I can’t fine anything about that online.
Do I need to wait? Is that normal?

That doesn’t seem normal.
Do you have a good data connection? Are you paying it via a linked account or by a traditional bank transfer?
The account It’s not linked, I need to write down the sort code and the account number. It also say that could be a scammer account and I’m sure it isn’t as its my landords.
It gives that warning because they names don’t match exactly.
For instance if your landlord has his account as J O Bloggs but you’re typing it was J Bloggs, it will flag. You can ignore it and carry on if you’re confident you’re paying the correct person.

All Monzo systems are currently without reported errors: https://monzo.statuspage.io/, so this is likely to be a local device related issue.
Have you tried restarting your device? This usually fixes the odd random problem that appears.
Ok, it was my phones fault. I was having trouble with whatsapp too so I restarted the phone and everything went good.
I think that the problem was related to the wifi connection (even if i was able to surf the web), restarting the phone fixed everything.
