Authorise Schedule Payment

Hi,

Could we have a feature to authorise a scheduled payment?

For instance we have a cleaner that comes to clean our house on a weekly basis, but she doesn’t always come for various reasons. So what I’d like is the ability to schedule a payment as a reminder and then the option to authorise the payment or not.

So once a week get a notification “Do you want to pay Mrs Mopp £x today” and a yes/no option.

I know it’s easy enough to pay a regular payee through the app, but to be honest I’d really appreciate a prompt!

You might find the ability to skip scheduled payments useful - if the cleaner can’t come one week, you’d be able to click the “skip next payment” button as soon as you know. You can vote for the ability to skip scheduled payments here:

I currently have a standing order set up every week, but on occasion it’d be really handy to either skip the next week, or set some “exclusion” dates (a bit like a “holiday mode” on magazine subscriptions). Would be awesome if something like this could be developed for Monzo scheduled payments.
