Atm dispute

The lesson from this is that I’ll be opting for getting cashback at the supermarket instead whenever possible as I can speak to a cashier directly if anything goes wrong.

I recently had an issue dispensing cash in to an ATM with Santander, luckily they took the note of the machine affected, the time I made the deposit and the next day the missing funds where credited.

I can see that when you use an ATM of the bank you have an account with that can make the process a lot easier, however when using another banks ATM it can get complicated.

Is it free to get cash back from Tesco etc…not sure if they do?

Not sure about Tesco, but the Co-op does, so I’d expect the others to do the same.

I always get cash by buying something for less than a quid.
In regards to pricing, you get 10% off as a student with an NUS card, plus 5% on Co-op branded products, so it’s actually not too bad.
