I tried to withdraw £250 on friday the 25th of april the machine made a funny noise then chucked my card out and out of service flashed on the screen within 5 mins the machine then returned to normal
I have not had my money back monzo chat not being helpful at all i cant speak to the dispute team they are not available on the phone!?! I have raised a dispute but this can take up to 8 weeks what can i do about this? I desperately need the money back it was food shopping money i have a newborn i cant even buy his milk i have told monzo all this and all i get is there is nothing they can do and thank you for your patience
I need some help sorting this out please
Citizens advice can offer advice about being broke (council grants and bursaries etc). Trussel trust can help with emergency food.
Other than that unfortunately it is a case of waiting for dispute to be resolved.

ATMs very reliably count all money in and out with several fail safes. Failures are extremely rare but when they happen the ATM knows it has happened and normally instantly refunds the customer.
It’s surprising that didn’t happen, but ultimately there will be a count in the ATM which would show £250 more in it than it’s expecting. So long as this is really what happened you’ll get the money back, but it may take the full 8 weeks. Nothing will speed it up.
In the meantime you’ll have to source alternative funds, look for food banks etc.
