Amazing! Like the Radio Times for Netflix
But isn’t that the whole point of VOD? There’s so much amazing content already in existence which is still just as compelling today as when it was first released.
And even for the biggest shows the potential audience that hasn’t seen it yet vastly outstrips those that have. Netflix is 90% of what we watch in our house so none of it is catch up to us.

I’m still on the fence about it at the moment. As much as I’m a sucker for Apple stuff, there’s not enough on there yet to tempt me. However, they will just continue throwing money at it until they have something worth paying for. At the moment it’s arguably more of a threat to Vimeo On Demand than Netflix or Prime, with their months-worth of catalogue titles to watch.
Never say never though. Maybe if I upgrade my phone and get a year’s free subscription I’ll give it a go.
I don’t want to pay for ANOTHER subscription, particularly with Disney ringfencing all the Marvel/Star Wars/Pixar stuff now…
But I have this for one year for free so, ask me next October!

I use the TVTime app and log every show I want to watch in there. It alerts me when new seasons drop on Netflix, or when new episodes are broadcast if its a weekly show. It’s amazing (though slightly scary when it shows me how much time I’ve spent watching tv).
I’m not sure if I really need it, if I’ve already payed for Netflix (bearing in mind, I watch only this service, if I have time to watch something).
Apple released the first trailer for Truth be Told
I’ve been very happy with Apple TV+ so far. See is a great show and I’m happy to support original content. I’m happy if I never see Friends on this service.
The influx of content to come in the future will keep me occupied and the weekly release schedule is refreshing. Back to the good ol days
What’s your favourite one at the moment? For All Mankind is growing so much on me. Still loving See.
I rush to watch The Morning Show, and then See. For some reason i leave For All Mankind for a few days before diving in, but it is definitely my favourite. I think there’s just more going on in it to keep track of so I need to set aside time to sit and relax to properly enjoy it.
Really looking forward to Truth Be Told, it looks right up my street, and Servant looks pretty exciting too. Also the Foundation series is going to be brilliant.
Looking at the list of all the shows they’ve commissioned its pretty huge, I think by the time people have to start paying for this next September, they’re going to have new stuff coming up weekly. I hope they don’t reach Netflix levels (with several new shows a week, it’s almost impossible to figure out what might be interesting unless it becomes a pop culture hit).
