Fine with my 17 Pro for now.

I have the 17PM but battery health is still 100% so I canāt really justify upgrading. Thatās never stopped me before, though 
My Series 10 watch is down to 90% battery health and Iām kind of missing my old Ultra so might go for the Ultra 4.

I think youād be lucky to see this - it will easily hit Ā£2k I would say if not more.
Samsungās is Ā£1.7k!

I havenāt even had my current iPhone for 12 months yet, quite happy to keep it for a while yet I think.
The 18 pro cherry colour does look amazing though - wouldnāt want to put a case on it. But not keen on it apparently being thicker & heavier than the current models.
Almost certainly wonāt be getting the fold/ultra because:
- The price - no wonder theyāve launched a leasing option
- The passport design isnāt for everyone
But letās see! Iām curious to see how multi tasking will work, and if it will support the Apple Pencil.

Itās probably worth noting that while any foldable Apple phone will be a first gen device for Apple, the tech is pretty advanced at this stage so it wonāt be the same āfirst genā as, say, the Apple Vision Pro.
From all reports Apple have researched and waited until the foldable tech is such that they can get rid of the fold crease.

I agree but the reports are that there will be virtually no crease.
It sounds pretty technical but āLiquid Metalā is thrown around to try and explain it.

Just joined AppleCare One. Took the best part of 2 minutes. Added my old MacBook which had no AppleCare or warranty to my plan, as well as my AirPods Pro! Even got a partial refund too for the month my iPhone was covered for. Very smooth! Can add more devices as well for an incremental fee (something like Ā£5 per month)
How do you do this? My iPad battery is at 82% I could do with this and kill it
Settings > general > AppleCare and warranty. Think there was a banner at the top
Got it from a covered device. If I click on one with no cover I donāt see the option.

Thatās how I found out that my Airpods are covered till July 2027. I had forgotten that I bought them with cover

Okay this is strange. I just randomly got sent a gift card from Apple addressed to myself for the AppleCare cancellation.
An Apple gift card to spend at their stores? Why not give you back your money through original payment method?
Looks like itā¦might put it towards the iPhone fold/ultra

This is the part thatās confusing me, because it seemed like youād be able to sign up any devices within the age limit.
But the way it seems to actually be working is that you can only add older devices to a AC One plan which is initiated by a device thatās still within its original AC period.
Unless itās just not fully rolled out yet?
I think this is it. I have not yet added additional devices but I can only activate it from the Mac or AirPods subscription page that have active ones running.
