Also just noticed the Air has replaced the Pro pricing wise.
Air is £999 (256GB) and Pro is £1,099 (256GB)
In terms of features, the 17 is enough for me.
But… that extra battery life on the Pro… so tempting…
Edit: there’s much less difference in the quoted battery life between the 17 and the 17 Pro than I expected
Also, they said in the keynote, that the e-sim only models have more battery due to the additional space. Not sure if the UK version is e-sim only or not?
They’re not, website is saying nano-sim and e-sim (same as 16)
RIP no new Apple TV yet. Fingers crossed for October.
It’s my favourite colour just can’t imagine such a bright phone colour.
AirPods Pro 3 pre-ordered but that might be all this year.

I have 14pro so tempted to upgrade this year.
Indeed. Which is a bit disappointing. I’d have preferred a little extra battery life.
This is me too - I feel like 5G is unusable for long because of the battery life.
For once, the base model seems like the best option. I’m thinking iPhone 17 in either blue or black. It even gets 256GB base storage. And - finally - 120hz refresh rate, they didn’t even skip the always on display. Reasonably priced too.
Also keen on the Watch 11.
Don’t think I’ll pre-order anything, I’ll wait for some reviews first.
Other than that, the iPhone Air does look amazing but not sure if it’s worth the compromises. The battery accessory for it 
Not keen on the design of the 17 pro.
I would have been tempted with the pack for travelling but it appears it wont be compatible (due to length possibly) with any other iphone which is a bit of a miss.
I’m having constant issues with mine hitting 128GB on my iPhone 16P so honestly thinking about 512GB just to be super safe, although the sensible part of me is saying 256GB is enough
40GB of random cache date is being taken up by “System Data”
Most painful part is playing any video from my Camera Roll relies on a cloud internet download which is horribly slow even over FTTP 1gbps
I went for sliver… I’m very disappointed no black, Ive with black since iPhone 3GS….
I don’t hate how they look. I’d probably go blue, even though orange is my favourite colour.
I think I’m sitting this one out. My iPhone 16 Pro is almost certainly fine for another year.

Alas I just got 16 Pro so sitting the out for a few years.
Can’t decide between the blue and orange - both look good. I already have an orange watch strap, though, so may just go with the orange, although I bet it won’t match exactly. I think that the orange 17 Pro Max looks good with the sienna techwoven case.
I didn’t like the sienna case, the phone is very vibrant orange but thought the case just made it look dull from the photos.
Went for blue in the end, the orange was lovely but not sure I’d still feel that way in 6 months as I have always had black before
