Thereās been no engagement that I can see from the Monzo team on this thread since before Christmas (quite reasonably, before anyone thinks Iām criticising) but Iām hoping that in the new year weāll see some more responses from them.
A number of people have made very similar comments (myself included) and Iām hoping that as pots are so central to the Monzo experience, this will be improved.
Iām not sure how far the customisation will go, but currently, with the mixed feed and showing 3 items, itās of no use as I have direct debits 4 days away (and they were there yesterday) so I canāt see any recent transactions for 5 days.
If I could make this 10+ that would be a big advantage.
Given the lack of vertical real-estate applied to the āLatest activityā section on the new app home screen, to display more transactions in this section would need an introduction of something like a localised scrolling widget, as opposed to one tap (on āSee allā) to get there. As in, tap on said widget, then scroll up/down to see all transactions (while still on the home screen), then tap out of it somewhere else on the home screen to continue to scroll through the whole home screen.
Personally, Iād keep the current limited initial view with the one-tap āSee allā plus scroll (with another tap: ā to get out of it: 2 taps/scroll total) and maintain the new app home screen as a global scrollable display, as opposed to a display with localised scrolling widgets.
I think I agree. However thereās a āsee allā button for that, do you think youād like more transactions on the Overview? Perhaps thereās a way to remove upcoming payments from showing in that new section. Itās tough to try and please everyone

No, please, showing the 3 most recent transactions is not useful. Chase did this on their Home Screen and I hated it.
I would much prefer something more intelligent, like last 24h, or last 7 days
Nor is showing 3 of the 27 pending transactions across current and joint accounts between tomorrow and 4 days from now, while hiding my Tesco shopping transaction from this morning.
Indeed, although I think even if you took scheduled payments out of it, it would still be pretty rubbish.
And please donāt anyone suggest showing just the first 3 scheduled transactions 
Perhaps two lines:
Ā£x pending (current)
Ā£y pending (joint)
Then 3 or 5 most recent transactions.
Tap on either of the two lines for pending transactions to expand them to show the individual transactions? Or if thereās only one transaction pending, show it so you donāt have to tap into it.
Donāt know how well that would work either from the point of usability or scree design. And possibly all falls apart if there are debits and credits pending.

You canāt currently. You have to tap into the current account and search from there.

Itāll be on the roadmap. This is an early preview for the eager beavers who want to give feedback and help Monzo with real life feedback and data.
But yeah, canāt really go live without that!
Just to say a search option on the home screen would be epic. It could even just be a search icon instead of that dumb present one for a start.
I donāt know if this is the right place but here we go.
Iād love to see the upgrade button moved to the bottom tab where the plus button sits and this become a products tab. If you have plus you probably know what you get for itā¦.
Whereas if you could click into that space and see the different products, upgrades and offers I think that would be a good balance of advertising but without it being obtrusive.
Bug, new today I think. Showing my personal account card twice. Tried the usual tricks but still persists.
I have the same thing but for my personal account. I have āshow joint account firstā enabled in labs if that helps.
In the sideways pot view, on iOS long pressing (dunno if Android can do this) a pot to bring up a Show/Hide menu would be good.
