My partner has an Amex card on my account. All her spending appears in my feed, is there a way to separate out the cards coming into my account as it’s getting confusing and I keep needing to cross reference statements
Next to Activity there’s 3 dots, you can disable cards from showing in the feed here. You can also exclude from Trends by tapping the list of accounts top left and selecting the cards you want. Though not sure what the benefit of adding the card in the first place would be if the presence of the transactions causes confusion.
I think the problem the OP is having is that the data Amex is sharing with Monzo includes all their transactions and the supplementary cardholder’s transactions.
I suspect the answer is that this is just a feature of how Amex deal with supplementary cards and would need to be filtered at their end - if that’s even an option they offer.
My Amex is on my wife’s account so only shows my card’s transactions - it also means I don’t get to see hers or the card’s balance (or what the direct debit amount is going to be.)
Thanks @teflon yes this sounds like the problem. Interesting it works the other way round how I’d like it to work. I’ll give Amex a call and see if it’s possible
Yes, Amex show the supplementary cardholder transactions in their feed. This is logical. The supplementary card is in your wife’s name, but spending on your Amex account. So naturally you’d see this - she’s spending your money at the end of the day.
