Amazon's "Subscribe & Save" payments always fail

Just an update - my idea didn’t work still had several declined payments this month again even though I’d set my card as a default payment method in Amazon.
If anyone has had better success I hope they share what they did so we can figure it out.

This continues to be an issue.

When I contacted Monzo support, they didn’t seem to realise there’s a problem with S&S payments and since responses were days apart I gave up trying to explain.

I’m now paying for S&S using my Santander card - will see if there’s any issues next month. If there are, then fair to assume the problem lies with Amazon.

Didn’t realise there was a thread on this but it happens to me every month.

Just need to get around to switching back to my Amex.

Amazon really needs to consolidate subscribe and save charging, to be honest.

It doesn’t need to spam 10 transaction through it once. It could just do one.

Would probably make the issue less annoying in itself too until Monzo/Amazon fix it.

It very much seems like an Amazon issue, I get it with my Chase card but never with our Monzo joint card.
