additional details required for bank transfer

Hi!

I’m trying to pay an invoice and I’m provided the details for a bank transfer. It says that I’m required to put in information like bak name, IBAN, payment reference and stuff like that but

Monzo does not provide an IBAN. You can generate it yourself online but I wouldn’t risk it.

If you’re paying an invoice then the person you’re paying will need to provide them to you, it’s their details?

I read it as they’re trying to pay the invoice but there is no IBAN field in Monzo.

I’m not overly familiar with international payments in Monzo but I believe you go to PAYMENTS then the INTERNATIONAL tab. Here you follow the steps to send money through their Wise.com integration.

I assume IBAN will be asked for in this process?

If you have IBAN would normally need a BIC/SWIFT code
