Shame you feel that way. Iā€™ve been here years and yet to block anyone. Whatā€™s happening you feel the need to block people?

Thereā€™s about half a dozen people Iā€™ve wanted to block on here (past and present) but I havenā€™t as it would ruin the view of conversations.

These are people who repeatedly post with, what seems to me, aggressive or malicious tone and/or frequently derail threads. Unfortunately these also seem to be people who appear in almost every thread on the forum.

I think at last count Iā€™ve only got 6 blocked to be fair, Iā€™ve found I donā€™t miss out on whatā€™s happening in conversations Iā€™m interested in as thereā€™s usually always plenty comments from other people to read

Do you have to have a higher trust level to block? If so then thatā€™s just silly. I actually didnā€™t know block was a thing, I thought you could only mute until today. I donā€™t think there should be restrictions when it comes to things like this, they shouldnā€™t force you to have to have to post so many times and sped a certain amount of time on the forum to be able to block people you find problematic.

Same, sometimes some others bother me but I tend to find that either somebody else puts the user in their place or flags them so I donā€™t have to, i donā€™t think iā€™ve actually ever even flagged anything, i tend to just ignore.

Iā€™ve never flagged anything either. I just canā€™t seem to get myself that wound up about it. I may have a cheeky eye roll and then scroll on.
