Has anyone else had failed ATM withdrawals but still been charged for the transaction?
Monzo are saying it will take 8 weeks get my money back!!
How long did this process actually take for other people please?
Unfortunately, for me, it took 4.5 months to get back money from a failed ATM withdrawal.
Whilst Monzo is still in a prepaid and beta program, as there are so many different elements involved, it does have the effect of causing delays. That said, chargeback processes can still last anything from 6 weeks to 6 months, and that’s on top of the 120 days you typically have to put in a claim.

I know. If it’s any consolation, my “legacy” building society declined an ATM chargeback claim for almost £200 from a withdrawal I never received in Thailand.
The experience with Monzo was eminently better!
