2 weeks and still waiting on refund

My wife has been waiting on a refund for 2 weeks on Monzo’s end (merchant refunded on the 1st Feb) and having spoken to Monzo, it’s showing as delayed on their system and the issue has been forwarded to their payments team.

Why is something as straightforward as a refund not simple from Monzo

It’s really putting me off using the card

Has the money landed in their current account? It doesn’t always match up and pay Flex off automatically.
