Your Favourite Coffee?

With milk and either sweetener or sugar-free vanilla syrup.

Most importantly, in a BIG mug. Beyond that, I’m not that fussy. It’s just a way to feed my caffeine addiction after all! (I do have Nespresso at home, thankful the pods are recycled now!)

My top 3 in London: Grind, Battersea Market and Digby’s (Vauxhall, CJ and Wimbledon stations)

I can thoroughly recommend Perky Blenders in Leyton, London.

I got a taste for Vietnamese coffee when I was living abroad, dripped slowly over a small glass with condensed milk :yum:. Luckily I’ve been able to get some since returning to UK.

In London, Fortitude Bakehouse (small bakery behind Russell Square station) always has a pretty good blend, and Redemption is a really good social enterprise - training up ex cons to brew the (delicious) coffee

Oooooh I’ve only ever heard good things about Vietnamese coffee. Hopefully visiting Vietnam this year so will give some a try!

Absolutely the greatest coffee if you don’t mind it sweet.

Also great if you cool it over some ice after you’ve mixed in the milk.

Ca Phe Phin filled with Trung Nguyen (sp?) Coffee and Longevity Condensed Milk is the greatest combo ever.

You’ll love it. Vietnamese coffee has more Robusta beans, so its often a lot more bitter then Western Coffee, but when you mix the condensed milk in everything changes.

HUGE fan of Hasbean and we also have an excellent local roaster - The Blending Room.

Usually, cappuccino with Oatly Barista made on a Rocket Apartamento and using Fausto grinder.

Yes, I love my coffee

Ha! @anon99402360 James is a legend

Depending on where you are going, I found a great coffee place in Hanoi in the old town (Cafe Dinh) and be sure to try egg coffee - really liked that.

Yesss the egg coffee too! So keen.

Anyone had a coffee from Grind before?

I’ve got some of their shares and have been eyeing up some coffee in their webshop - London is a bit far to sample myself…

Anyone had a cup before? Thoughts?

I’m still chucking Douwe Egberts pods into a now ageing Senso coffee machine. Still loving it.

Their coffee is pretty good, actually I’d call it excellent.

I find me and friends meeting in Grind more and more often, mostly because it’s a good place to meet that’s not necessarily focussed on alcohol (but the alcohol is there if you want it). A lot of my friends are non-drinkers and they find Grind a much more comfortable place to not drink than a bar or club.

Didn’t invest in the shares though, I thought the valuation was a bit steep.

I LOVE the house blend…

Oh great! Looks like I’ll definitely be making a second ‘investment’ in them then. (https://grind.co.uk/products/kilo-bean)

Fyi. I also thought the valuation was a bit steep for their current position, but plenty of room to grow if their quality is as I perceive.

Personally, I’m hopeful that I don’t fall in love with it…it will be an expensive relationship!
