Your bank declined one or both of our small authorizations. If you clear this issue up with your bank, you can retry then.

Has anyone actually managed to fix this before I just changed banks? Monzo support is useless, their “specialists” just recommend the same solution every time which fixes nothing. This payment does not show on the app at all and is being blocked by Monzo itself. This happens every time I deposit money onto steam and I can’t use the steam market for a week every time.

If the notification or transaction doesn’t reach Monzo, it’s a merchant issue.

They need to update their bin database to accept your card, you’d see the active card check within the Monzo app if they had done this properly.

Double checking your details before submitting, including address format being matched exactly to your Monzo, and your full name as shown in Monzo, for it to work.

I use my Monzo card to purchase games on Steam, but I charge directly to my card instead of topping up my wallet first. Never have any issues.

(I do use a virtual card, rather than my main card though).

I never had any issues adding my card and I top up like normal :confused:
