Small Authorisation Payments

I recently deposited funds onto a well-known gaming website (Steam,, and was shortly after required to verify ownership of my Monzo card.

Upon starting the verification process, I encountered the following issue:

Does anyone know of any way to enable the clearing of such authorisations within the app?

Did any transaction appear in the Monzo app at all - either as declined, or with another message? If it’s not coming into the Monzo app, then there’s a chance that it wasn’t sent to Monzo at all. Suggest just double checking the card details again etc.

Did you use your normal current account card, is it frozen?
