Wrong delivery address: how to change it?

Hi everyone,
given the fact that I am a moron, I wrote the wrong address when signing up to Monzo.
My identity has been verified, but I cannot change my delivery address now. What should I do?
Can I maybe confirm my address and then change it immediately from within the app?

Do it in-app;

From Home, tap on your user image/icon at the top-left, tap on the settings cog at the top-right, tap on you (Personal details), tap on the ‘edit’ icon to the right of the address under the ‘Contact details’ section.


Monzo may have already processed the address to send the physical card to. You may have to get in touch with Monzo via in-app chat and explain the error.

I thought you had to have your first card always shipped to the same address as on the ID? I could be wrong here tho :eyes:


Nope, I am new to the UK so I put my temporary address there.
Anyway, I have been told that unfortunately they cannot really do anything at the moment. I am afraid I’ll have to freeze the card as soon as it is delivered

I have been told there is nothing they can do about it.
Moreover, given the fact I can only have a single account under my name, they told me that if for any reason I do not have access to the address I provided they won’t be able to offer me an account at all :frowning:

Did you manage to solve the problem? Because I have the same problem.

Once they ship the card, you cannot change the address in any way (that’s what I have been told). You are either able to somehow retrieve the card or they are not going to be able to offer you a Monzo account.
