Literally just got home from Croatia via Wizz Air and they are still refusing to accept Monzo on board. If I fly with them again I’ll try it on my Google pay. Used my credit card from another company as didn’t realise this was just outdated information from them.
It’s July 2024 not sure why they are still peddling this nonsense.

Not WizzAir as such, but for context we used the Monzo Joint account to get fleeced on a Jet2 flight to Turkey yesterday. No announcements or issues with both GPay and Card contactless. Charges went through this morning OK
With infinite time and endless computers, the monkeys at WizzAir might possibly get this working.

I was on a WizzAir flight back from Spain and they announced specifically no Monzo or Amex cards were accepted - I paid with my Monzo card via ApplePay just fine

Wizz are being annoying again. They made an announcement in flight to say that they don’t accept Amex or Monzo.
That implies it’s not just a cabin crew mistake while handling an individual transaction - but a Wizz thing. They’re getting told to say this.
