D’oh, I should have thought about that before asking. 
The white card was more expensive when they nudged me to order a physical card. In hindsight, I should’ve gone for the white card. But I think I chose not to because I wanted the number to be on my card in case I use it for anything that requires card number checks.

Pretty, nonetheless. This makes me want to use Wise even just for 1 transaction to get the stamps.

To answer, you won’t be able to use the QR pay in Mainland. Not sure why. Singapore/Philippines should work fine, but I’ve never used it.
Alipay+ seems to be available in the reverse (Chinese can use Alipay+ abroad) but not in the opposite manner (foreigners using Alipay+ in China).
You could use AlipayHK in Mainland directly though (and it will accept foreign cards, probably with a fee-free limit) and you can also just add your bank card to AlipayCN itself, with a 3% fee over 200rmb (some places will let you split payments).
I checked both iFast & Wise for the ‘Alipay+’ scoop.

It seems you can now get separate account details for each of your jars in Wise. Before it told you to use your current account details and then transfer in.
If they have a full banking licence and cash back, that’s Chase gone for me.
I’d also like virtual cards from jars. That would convince me to move my subscriptions from Monzo.
