I am going to get further advice but

has just popped up on my Microsoft Google Alert. I’m not up on this stuff so if anyone else is and can throw some light, please do.

You just need to check for windows updates and make sure it’s up to date?

The article doesn’t mention that a fix has been released yet so you just need to keep checking and keep an eye on your system tray for windows update notifications.

When ones are available it should tell you what they’re for :slight_smile:

Edit: I’ve just seen that it does: Look for CVE-2019-1181 and CVE-2019-1182

Update your machine and you’ll be fine.

Go to settings> updates and security > check for updates that would pull down the latest updates.

If you really want to double check that you’ve installed the patch then let me know and I’ll try to explain how.
