Yep, received mine this morning too, one of the smoother switches Iâve had.
My Lloyds switch happened overnight. No payout yet though
NatWest paid me ÂŁ200 this morning the day after my minimum balance had been there for 24 hours.
Lloyds one payable âwithin 3 working daysâ according to the bot
With the RBS bribe, does anyone know if the ÂŁ1250 has to be in there for 24 hours over a working day? Or could I pay it in today and remove it tomorrow afternoon?
Yeah I also transferred in on a Friday and was not sure about this, so didnât transfer it back till Monday to be sure. Couldnât find anything online about it.
Thanks. In that case Iâll wait for the switch to complete first
It says 24 hours in the Ts&Cs. I took that to mean overnight, so the date registered on the statement.
Is it just Lloydâs and NatWest with active switch offers then?
Lloyds plus Natwest/RBS/Ulster, yes.
My Lloyds payout has arrived overnight.
The Lloyds Ts&Cs explicitly state account upgrades into Club wonât count.
I know, I was baffled too, but then I got a letter saying I couldnât get the payment because two direct debits didnât go across, so Iâll just see what happens.
Well, the direct debits are also explicit in the terms. Didnât you read them?
Yes; anticipated there was given the account I moved but clearly not.
Also says needs to be a newly opened an account in the terms, which having received a letter saying I canât have the payment, is taken as yes, you couldâve, but you didnât move direct debits too.
And itâs not uncommon for banks to have terms written and not have them apply RE switches (NatWest group last year fine example).
@j06 NatWest / RBS / Ulster doesnât require any direct debits.
@Carlo1460 The NatWest / RBS / Ulster can be an existing account or newly created.
A
You need to switch in an old bank which is not of the bank you are trying to claim from.
B
The second requirement is ÂŁ1250 which can be multiple deposits as long as you keep each one for 24hrs min.
C
You canât have had a bribe from the group since 1 January 2020. And due to the wording only ÂŁ200 not ÂŁ600 from switching between sister banks like last time.
Thatâs it
The switch was into Lloyds, despite being put in the RBS thread.
My apologies.
Yes Lloyds are quite clear with it being two active direct debits and not an existing account. No need to search in legal speil as itâs in the page. I would be amazed if they let either of the criteria slide for payout.
Iâm aware of these, but their letter hinted otherwise.
They may stand their ground and couldâve been an error triggering the letter to me.
Shall see as in the past itâs been possible to obtain bonuses from multiple banks against whatâs written on paper.
I had 4 active DDs on the account I switched into Lloyds from Chase but none of them paid out from the Lloyds account before I received the bribe.
