Who gets their salary paid into Monzo?

The best thing about having your salary paid into Monzo is you know the exact second it arrives, I always love that bit of excitement

I get my salary paid in - no problems at all and its nice to get the notification when it comes in as opposed to having to check with my legacy bank

I’ve had my salary paid in since upgrading to the CA in November. I also manually transferred all of the Direct Debits over and have had no issues at all!

Salary has been being paid in since August last year - zero issues for me.

I’ve just changed jobs and when they input my details on the system it prompted that it was Monzo Bank Ltd. So should be all good :blush:

My previous employer was rubbish and it worked there!

The shortcomings of the Direct Debit system is stopping me, I can’t trust it at the moment.

Well I tried to put my details in at work as we need to put our bank details in on a computer but when I tried to save them it said “please enter a valid sort code” very disappointed it was also doing the same with my Starling account

I also get mine paid in and have done since I opened my current account… no problems what so ever :slight_smile:

I wish I could but until international transfers become a reality, it isn’t happening…still waiting!

I’ve been getting my salary paid in since December - no issues, it’s made my life wayyy easier :smiley:

I have just taken the plunge! Salary goes into :monzo: from the end of this month and I’m sure it will be absolutely fine.

The only reason it has taken me this long is because I decided to do the Direct Debit admin myself rather than waiting for CASS to arrive.

What time do you get your incoming salary notifications?

At around 6am on payday.

Mine was 1am last time I noticed, a month or two back. I only paid attention as I was still awake and I thought it was due at 2am.

Inbound direct credits should be 1am.

Outbound direct debits are 2am.

What happens to inbound/outbound if there is an issue either end?

  • inbound doesn’t happen at 1am, is it attempted later?
  • outbound insufficient funds due to inbound issue, is that attempted later?
