When I was a kid, there was a poor chap whose parents were mad evangelical Christians who wouldn’t let him watch TV - so he spent most of his time hanging around people who did have TV. I am now that kid. People are agog I don’t subscribe to anything

It has its downsides - a lot of the time people at work and socially are talking about TV stuff I have no idea about. Nor any particular wish to.
