I really like The Thing (2011) a prequal to The Thing (1982). Both very entertaining films in my opinion but I did really enjoy the 2011 version.
Also, Die Hard 2 is my favourite Christmas film.

Back in my day that would have been
“Built like a brick s***house”
Its great getting old
Haha, true. The old sayings are still the best!
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation my no.1 Christmas film.
My go to film, especially if I’m feeling rough, is the original Predator. Classic Arnie.
Deadpool & Wolverine seems good so far.
The F bomb and other sexual innuendos are plentiful.
You have achieved top tier respect. Awesome film.
I want to see this, it is on my list.
It was a surprising level of stupid I actually didn’t mind.
Absolutely loved The Wild Robot.
Just a joy of a movie. Beautifully animated and so evocative. Genuinely funny (and surprisingly dark) without ever being silly.
And just packed with emotional punch. Fantastic soundtrack too, which really adds to the atmosphere.
I’ve had it downloaded around a week but not managed to watch, seems highly rated.
May watch it tonight, fester out this cold
Like me through these final few episodes of LOST
So was mine but only because she asked me if she looked fat just as we started watching it.
Sometimes you just gotta tell a little lie for peace
I saw The Substance recently.
I think body horror tags it’s been given aren’t completely accurate to that genre but I guess for a cinema release it’s kinda fair.
Lots of POV shots and intense close ups but an enjoyable watch. Would have been so much better if it was like 30 mins shorter.
The beginning is good; the ending is good. They are just too far apart.
That applies to quite a few films nowadays.
Rebel Ridge - Netflix.
Meh.
Agreed. Found it very boring for an action film.
Felt like it was more a showreel for that actor to get bigger and better roles.
