Also looking forward to finishing my masters dissertation in September but not as excited about the idea of actually working if I could stay in education forever, I would!
Getting my rent deposit back and finally closing my Santander account
Tomorrow I’m at The Night Owl in Digbeth. Next month I’m doing a jazzy / mellow set in the middle of the day for a brunch event at Frederick’s Bar in the Jewellery Quarter. I’ve done a few different places in Digbeth and Central before as well, and once at the MAC in Edgbaston.
So many things. Just off the top of my head and in no particular order:
A family member’s big birthday party
My daughter in a parade at our local festival (tomorrow)
An autism pride-type picnic get-together
Various camping holidays to amazing locations, with great day trips planned
A lot of visits to theme parks
My TA course. I’m training to be a Teaching Assistant, have started volunteering in a school one morning a week and I’m starting my qualification course in time for September, so get to look forward to working on that before the end of the year.
My daughter entering her preschool year, hopefully joining a new drama school and football team and moving away from the toddler class settings.
My daughter and I have made a decision to start going to the cinema every week. I’m quite looking forward to all the films we’ll get to see (and those comfy Vue recliner seats) and that we maybe wouldn’t otherwise have watched.
