Baller ? What is that?
It’s always £100 when I tap on withdraw, unless there’s less than £100 in the pot and then it’s the pot total. It’s a pain as I almost never want to withdraw £100.

I’d not seen that definition but I did look it up. Whichever definition you take, Revels is making assumptions I’m not too happy with.
Finally ‘pot to pot transfers’ have been enabled on both mine and my partner’s accounts.
We are doing the penny challenge into a joint Instant Access Savings account, which we transfer daily from our personal accounts.
I noticed I couldn’t use the ‘pot to pot’ transfer to directly drop money into the joint savings pot, assuming it was because of the type of pot. I can still transfer to all our other joint pots.
Imagine my surprise when I saw that my better half has a better option. She can transfer directly into the savings pot.
So to my question - could anyone (who knows) please explain why I can’t do this?
Cheers
Have the same issue as you
I was trying to set up a bunch of scheduled transactions for next month and discovered the new transfer screen no longer lets you setup a future transfer if you don’t have enough funds now.
I’ve got a pot with £0 in it currently. I was trying to setup a scheduled transfer for later next month (when there will be money in it) but I couldn’t, the value goes red and the button disables
I had to transfer the money in, schedule the transfer and then transfer the money back out again
No idea! Perhaps a staff member knowns.
It’s an american phrase. They use it all the time.
They’re pretty baller.
Quite surprised to get an invite to test the new features this week (so first time posting feedback). I’m starting to have a play and look around and started with fave function - all things pots! I use pots a great deal so adding the capability is v useful and is the first feature I’ve tried out a few different times.
I didn’t right away notice the option to reveal the drop down list of pots. The default monzo account option comes up with the pot you’re in and there is a direction switch but there isn’t any little arrow or dots to show you can bring up a list if you tap. Now I know it’s there if I tap, it’s fine.
But, and it’s a big but for me that doesn’t feel fine or an improvement is that funds in and out of pots now seems unnecessarily laboured, with more to click through or click out of just to do a quick ££ shift. The repeated information and a confirmation on a separate screen I have to x out of I find irritating and unnecessary. I’d much rather it was a transient/swipe away pop-up or an animated screen that disappears, or a much simpler and quicker confirmation that is part of the same active page as the transfer itself. I’d love it if the main monzo ‘move money’ or similar button brought up pots too.
This could be my small phone - I’d prefer the ‘enter transfer sum’ box to be smaller or other adjustment made so that I can still see the two pot current balances when entering the transfer amount. On my phone when I tap into the £.£ box, the page automatically shifts the two pots out of view whereas I preferred always seeing them.
I’m so used to the monzo app and approach that anything less seems completely outdated to me! Feedback thoughts here but certainly not dealbreakers. I’m enjoying slowly looking around at other features to see how they work for me too
Having used this now, my main criticism is that you can’t use it to send to savings pots only regular. Hopefully that’s
Oh but you can. See my post above.
Still waiting to get this feature
This is weird
I don’t have the new transfer for the savings pot for withdrawal or Income but the rest of my pots have the new transfer setup.
Can anyone from Monzo / community throw any light on this ?
Yeah it’s weird. We share a joint account and she can transfer to the savings pot but I can’t.
Did you set up the pot? I’m waiting for my partner to greet home so I can check it out too
Yeah, I set it up on my end.
I now appear to have the ability to schedule pot to pot transfers… (update: it turns out this is not strictly true… yet. The screen only allows me to schedule transfers from my personal/JA to a pot)
I am able to transfer money into my savings pot with a schedule, but not the other way around (which I suspected would be the case).
Something I’ve noted and maybe this has been mentioned before but this new feature only works in certain situations.
If I go into pots from the new overview then the old option works.
If I touch my card and go into the previous overview and select a pot, then I get the new pot to pot transfer.
Oh my god I have the thing! I just had to try this way! Thank you
