Yup. We barely use it at all but they quickly linked us financially

How strange. Other half has never used their personal account, not even a credit, so maybe that’s why?

Been waiting nearly a week to open a joint account :smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear: still stuck on “waiting for other person” on both sides

Have one cancel the application and the other send the reminder, then it should complete? :pray:t3:

This is exactly why I don’t want this new joint card, it completely destroys the uniqueness of the premium card and makes it harder to see which is which in the app. Honestly think this is a really weird choice from the Monzo team if differentiation was the key factor, why make it look like the top paying tier of customer card and cause confusion on that end. You fix a problem for non paying customers but pass that problem onto paying customers, weird prioritisation?

Unless there’s plans to also offer new premium styles of full metal like the Revolut ultra? I hope so because my joint card runs out in less than a year and I don’t want two white cards in my app, I’ll happily stop paying for premium and go to plus or even standard

I would like to know if Monzo could at least provide Virtual Cards to Joint account users. Virtual cards provide a great mitigation for abuse of debit cards and I think all Monzo customers deserve this protection and it’s more important than changing cards colour.

IS this speculation? Or does it actually work?

Both my partner and I have “waiting for the other person - once theyve answered a few questions… blah”. We’ve both seen this page for over a week. I contacted live chat and was advised that there is no queue to work through… and I’ll just get notified eventually.

My thoughts exactly… but both our apps say waiting for the other person.

We cancelled the application this morning. She resubmitted, I got a notification, completed it. Now were back to “waiting for the other person”…

Filled the form in before the deadline but haven’t heard anything so far. Anyone already received their card?

No, no card yet or any notification.

Same here both completed the form and nothing

Form submitted at lightning speed - no further update since. Last Friday (14th) was hinted at an action day (form closing, submissions processed, etc.), but nada so far.

Although a few forum members have already posted images of the white JA card in-app/in-person which means they must have claimed their coral JA card had been lost :eyes:
