It fits fine in normal jeans. Going to keep using it for a bit longer and see how it goes.
I’m a back pocket wallet-er, 100% feel like this would slip out.
3 years on and the Bellroy Melbourne backpack is still going strong. But…
I’m doing more trips out recently and needed a larger carrying space than the 18L Melbourne, so to compliment the Bellroy for such trips, I’ve gone for the 25L Mous Protective Lid Backpack. It’s very sturdy & premium. Hot Chip approves.
It’s first task was to transport some rather valuable trophies to Westminster & back for a display at the House of Lords - and it did it with ease.
How have you been fairing with this behemoth of a wallet? ![]()
Daily use. I’ve found it to be quite good and easy to access cards via. It’s possible in summer and shorts it might get in the way a little.
It was you I was thinking who has the Platinum
I knew it was someone I was wondering if they used all the benefits.
Does the metal scratch with the cards moving?
If you’re talking about the Amex pictured above, that’s the cashback card.
Oh yeah. Oh well, the hunt continues…
Anyone have one of these?
I’m very tempted, especially in that green.
I don’t have one but is a very handsome wallet imo
Some of the “vegan” leather options contain quite a lot of plastic.
I’m all for alternative materials but was severely disappointed with Otterbox and their cactus leather iPhone case. It really is something like 30% cactus and the rest is just PU.
I understand the desire for animal free products but I at the same time don’t wish to pollute any more than I do!
This looks like Apple leather. But not clear how much is actually plastic
lol yeah I use the cashback. So far I earned £32 and still to wait till October (anniversary date) before I get my cashback but hopefully by then I’ll have about £90 by then. The metal on the holder is covered with plastic so no scratches . The metal is just the spring thing to keep the cards secure and not slide out (but they are covered with plastic). Love it on my iPhone 13mini.
This is to be expected though, surely? If it was 100% cactus then, well…![]()
For the same reason I would never expect my underwear to be 100% bamboo. ![]()
Really? Doesn’t sound right to me that a product marketed as cactus leather should be 70% plastic?
Bamboo underwear is somewhat different as that’s 95% bamboo fibres.
Also cactus leather is made by processing the plant… obviously not peeled cactus…
I bought the red version of this and it’s real leather. ![]()
Love their design language.
Pleather is quite popular these days ![]()
On the hunt for a backpack for work that can double up as a travel backpack so 25L to 35L capacity.
Any recommendations?
I have one of these
It’s been as equally useful out in cafes, on the tube, in the car as it has hiking in Madeira and stuffed under the seat in front of me long haul.
Yes it’s a lot but you get what you pay for. Lightweight and seemingly bombproof.
Cheers for the suggestion. This looks great.
