I’ve been using the Bamboo for a while now - very soft on me tush.

It’s softer than the standard recycled - think it fares ever so slightly better than Andrex/etc’s Quilted Velvet types.

Can’t not recommend enough.

Edit: the only downside I’ve found - is that sometimes the 3 layers don’t always stay together as well as other - when you tear at the perforated point sometimes the 3-ply tries to separate. But it doesn’t really affect the performance.

Is this toilet roll 2 ply or 3 ply?

The Bamboo is 3-ply

I might try it even though I’m a 4 ply guy :joy_cat:

I thought 3 ply was the premium! Tell me more of this 4 ply!

Thank you, signed up :+1:

Here you go, it’s the best lol

I hear you can layer 3 sheets of that and it’s enough to stop 9mm rounds

Hmm I thought that one was 3-ply. I may need to revisit previous life decisions…

Me too. Monzo categorises them as Entertainment :joy:

Nope 4-Ply, I will double check when I get home though.

Not too impressed now I’ve been stung with a £15.93 Customs charge (includes £8 handling fee)!

Thank you, I have just ordered the free trial.

Good 'old FedEx?

Not sure yet, got to pop down to the Post Office tomorrow b4 12:00, pay the fee and collect the item.

That sounds like Royal Mail then…

That really bugs me. I think it’s DHL that call it a “Presentation fee” or similar. Don’t present it then if it’s going to cost £8. I’ve got a package waiting for pickup at the moment. £14.04 Customs Charge, of which £8 is the handling fee. FFS.

That’s what put me off about QUIP - didn’t want to get stung on the package.

In theory though the refills should fall under the import VAT limit so shouldn’t be charged.
