Yeah I got it from Vodafone and I just found out something for u
DM me and I will explain more to u
Vodafones unlimited plan has no fair use policy except if itâs used for commercial purposes.
But I do find theyâre more zealous with blocking questionable sites (like torrenting) than other providers .
I spoke to them on phone and the Max plan donât but the others do
I was with Vodafone UK for a decade. The customer service used to be amazing. Itâs really become useless in the past few years. But the main reason I stayed was because of their excellent retention deals. Now I canât get much of a discount, so I decided to try EE.
And wow, the data speeds! I wasnât expecting much if a difference. But I tested in various locations across London. On 4G I was getting on average 10-20mbps on Vodafone and 30-40mbps on EE.
In almost all of the locations I tested, EE was faster (I tested using the same phone at almost the same time - Iâm a geek like that).
The few times Iâve had to deal with customer service, theyâve been very helpful and technically smart.
So to say Iâm happier with EE than Vodafone is an understatement.
I know some people have had problems with their customer service but I have always had a great experience with them. Iâve been with them for about 10 years but my mum has been with them since the 90âs
I have been a Three customer for the last 6 years and I live in London, in the last 12 months their network got shockingly bad so last week I decided to move to Vodafone.
Seriously, itâs so nice not to have to switch 4G <-> 3G on and off to make it work and reception is great.
I wish they offered a sim so I could use a EE one too, some places in the countryside EE does have better reception data, hopefully they will soon.
Welcome aboard I think there so much better then three and o2
You may want to try Vodafone - if O2 is bad Vodafone might be as well as they share their masts but it depends on your local area of course.
Vodafoneâs network is very reliable and they were great when I used them. I only left them for 3 for a better price.
The only one left is Vodafone, then.
By far the best advice is to get a PAYGO SIM and try it out at the places andAt the times you want it to work.
If you want to gauge their customer service, call them up with some simple queries from your new sim.
Youâll get much better information than by asking random people on the internet.
If you call from a PAYGO SIM and ask stuff like âHow come Iâve used so much data?â Youâll get an idea of how they deal with enquiries and how long it takes them to answer. A better idea than a call out to the internet.
I can guarantee plenty of people have found them to be good, and plenty have found them to be bad.
Their PAYG and PAYM teams are entirely different and not even in the same centre so I wouldnât rely on this measure.
The bastards. Advertise a feature and then silently pull it with no notice, leaving those tied into long contracts absolutely stuffed. Itâs 2021, most modern metro systems have free for all WiFi in stations, if not in the tunnels too. And here we have Vodafone shafting its customers once again by going back to pre-2012 levels of connectivity.
Itâll be ÂŁ15 per month for a Virgin Media WiFi Pass now if youâre a Voda customer and want to use WiFi in Tube stations - what a joke! I only took out my new 24 month contract with them a couple of months ago
Iâm holding out hope for thisâŚ
To be fair though - whatâs the point?
It only works in stations and not on the trains themselves. Where I live now there is 4G connectivity outside, inside and throughout the stations and on the trains themselves that works seamlessly. You donât ever see no service whilst underground.
Blame TfL and the mobile networks for not putting this solution in. Theyâve had ample time to do it. Virgin WiFi was always a janky solution anyway.
The Wifi should just be free with a simple sign on. It shouldnât require the mobile networks to pay for it as a benefit.
TfL like their money
Virgin mobile sims are being or have been migrated to Vodafone from EE, surely they could work something out.
I think itâs complaint worthy tbh, but I doubt youâll get ÂŁ15 off your bill per month.
I donât think this is fair. They need money. WiFi doesnât come cheap or free; and is a partnership with Virgin Media.
I know itâs fashionable to hate on London but this lies with Vodafone. As for it being âpointlessâ, I donât think it is, I donât know anyone who thinks it is and clearly from the backlash enough people donât think it is.
