Upgraded to Plus, will card details update automatically?

Recently got a Monzo free account and then spent ages updating card details on the various merchants (spotify, Google Pay etc etc).

Then decided to upgrade to a premium account @ £5pm.

The new card has a different card number, expiry and CVC. I am told that all my online merchants will be updated automatically, is this correct?

In theory yes, but you may want to cross-check as it’s not always possible.
