Unable to activate new card

I am unable to activate my new card in the app. When I add my details I get a message- Problem. Sorry we weren’t able to activate your card at this time.

Is it a brand new account?

You’ll probably need to contact monzo in app, search contact us in the help section if you don’t see that chat button.

I’ve got this problem…with new credit card…neither placing card by phones …Huawei…nor inputting 16 digit number works. I’ve called you but doesn’t deal with this problem, neither does chat,
Unless you can get it sorted imminently, it’s going in the bin.
