Uber Pool has been my friend recently, it’s heavily discounted in Sydney at the moment as it’s new and they are trying to get people to use it (a fare I usually take is $25 for a Uber X and $8 for a pool - big difference)!
I think if they offered a subscription that also included a discount on Uber X and UberEats delivery fees I’d probably take it up.
Totally - Uber Pool and the Lyft equivalent saved me a ton of money when I was in LA. I could get from Wilshire/Central where I was staying over to Hollywood for like $4, it was so convenient.
I love it, as long as you accept it may take you an extra 10-15 minutes to get to your destination then it’s great. Most of my fellow passengers have been nice too
Maybe would be good to mention there is a new service in London, comparable/cheaper than Uber and offering subscription as well. ViaVan launched couple months ago. They operate only in Zone 1 and 2. In zone 1 they charge fixed fee 3£ per trip and zone 2 is slightly cheaper than Uber.
Subscriptions:
39£ per week - up to 4 free rides a day
109£ per 4 weeks - up to 4 free rides a day
If you want to give it a try, please use my code vojtech2j3 which gives both of us £20.

BTW: It’s not actual Van, it’s usual cars like Prius and most drivers are former Uber drivers, that switched to ViaVan because they are paying drivers more.
You can add stops. You have to edit the trip once he is on his way to you or you are already in the car, can’t do at start, but no need for different trips!
