Trying to add security control "Secret QR code" but get "QR code not detected" error

Monzo app giving error message “QR code not detected” when QR code is fully in box and being presented clearly.

Steps to reproduce: Print out QR code emailed to me by Monzo when trying to add security control “Secret QR Code” and then attempt to scan it with Monzo app.
Android 14
OnePlus 6 (20 megapixel camera)
App version 5.85.0

As it would not be a good idea to include the QR code in the image, I have taken a screenshot of part of the printout so it’s clear that the printout is of decent quality. With the QR code centered, at various distances and always in focus, it always remains undetected.

I ran a test on a different QR code with the Google Lens app and that successfully read the code - basically a test to see if the phone was able to read a QR code okay.

Whatever the problem was, it’s been fixed! I am now able to successfully scan the QR code in the app. Happy days!
