Trends - a big update to the Monzo experience

Any news on categorising payments between pots? Currently I have to pay off my Amex from a separate account, and send payments to that account from Monzo to categorise them.

If we had that I’d finally be able to go full Monzo.

Part of the Trends tab rollout allows you to categorise pot transfers, so I hope this solves your problem!

We’re releasing Trends to a select few Monzo Plus and Monzo Premium customers today to get feedback and develop it properly.

Is there any particular reason why you’ve opted for this sort of rollout instead of either Labs or the iOS and Android beta channels?

This seems to have happened with quite a few new things Monzo have launched recently.

The feature does sound interesting though. Summary has been dead to me since I started pumping my spending via AMEX, so I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve built!

In addition to those Plus & Premium subscribers getting it through today’s rollout, an even smaller fraction will see a toggle appear in Labs to enable it.

(But it’s a fraction of a fraction, so don’t go frantically refreshing Labs… )
