I haven’t done scenarios, but I have done some basic work to create forecasts and projections for my personal finance spreadsheets based on past account balances using excel’s ‘forecast’ functions;

IFTTT + Google Sheets + Monzo = Then what?

Quick update on my efforts to do predictive forecasting in google sheets. Its definitely not the easiest graph in the world to read, but I have a graph that compares my current savings (blue bars) to what my forecasts from January suggest (red line). The difference between the two is shown by the yellow line. The ‘seasonality’ problem I mentioned before is still kind of present as the forecasted savings don’t quite align with my pay cycle correctly. But its something. [image]
