Top up blocked - Difference in Company

Tried to top up my card with the usual weekly amount but was blocked by Nationwide.

Turns out they blocked it due to a change in the company taking the payment.

Usually Mondo (professional services) this time Get Mondo (online computer store)

Anyone else experienced this?

We’ve changed the company we use to process top ups so that’s why on your bank end they saw the payment coming from a “new” merchant.

That doesn’t justify Nationwide blocking the payment but I guess that’s the reason. Apologies :frowning:

First time I tried to top up, with Nationwide on the new processor, it said it had failed. Tried again straight away and got the same message but the top up worked. Topped up this morning and it was flawless. Definitely a few kinks getting ironed out on the new processor.
