Today we’re launching Monzo Investments 🎉

If you are putting your money in a single investment, the TWRR graph is the same as that for the investment fund.

I’d hope that’s a typo and they meant me.

Graph wise, does monzo show you fund performance even when you’re invested.

Free trade has this and money weighted return

I think it’s obvious that it’s a typo. Genders don’t make any sense at all in the context of their post.

Hang in there, David!

Though you wouldn’t have to had they been using an iPhone instead.

Out of interest, how is everyone’s investments performing?

I’m on the balanced fund, up 2.91%. Have sporadically invested since October. Wondering if switching to adventurous might improve the performance.

Also started in October but on the adventurous. Complete luck that the S&P was just starting a good run

You’re both doing far better than me, it seems! Maybe time to reconsider my risk appetite!!

What’s the rough time people have experienced on transferring over their ISAs from different providers? My friend’s considering doing it & said I’d see if I can find out :eyes:

It varies a lot. Both on who you’re moving from and who you’re moving to (among other factors). Typically it’s 2 to 4 weeks though.

Yeppp I know - was hoping to hear from people who had done it, and how long theirs had taken.

Might be helpful to include who the existing provider is in that case. They’ll have the bigger bearing on how long it will take than Monzo.

Might wait until the new tax year then just open a Monzo investment ISA, then I can compare to my Moneybox one over 2024.

That’s what I’m doing and always have done, I have Vanguard and T212 both with funds in, will be trying Monzo this year.

I may move them all into one account one day lol.

I’ll take the blame partially for diverting off topic.

My issue isn’t that investing with Monzo isn’t investing. I don’t want to gatekeep what counts as investing, especially when I myself don’t.

My issue is “my day as an X” (be that investor, plumber, astronaut, deep sea welder, OnlyFans performer) implies something about one’s lifestyle beyond just going about your day as normal and putting the odd penny into an investment pot.

It’s a bit like a resume on The Apprentice!
